Mrs. Eva Lee Loftice Stibbins, age 81 passed away on Tuesday at Baylor Hospital in Garland. She resided at Garland Community Care Center of Garland, Texas (formally Silver Leaves Nursing Home). She was born on October 15, 1922 in Melissa, Texas. She was raised in and around the Melissa area before moving to Garland with her husband in 1962. She retired from Varo in Garland, Texas. Eva is survived by her 2 sisters Letha Mae and her husband, Weldon “Fuzz” Stice of Sherman, Texas, Dollie Ruth of Whitewright, Texas, and 1 brother, Louis Raymond “Nig” Loftice of Honey Grove, Texas. She was a very loving and caring mother of 5. He children are Jimmie Lee Stibbins of Sherman, Texas, David Stibbins and his wife, Doris of Frankston, Texas, Bonnie Helterbrand and her husband, Jimmy of Garland, Texas, Roy Stibbins and his wife, Janice of Garland, Texas, and Tommy Stibbins. She had 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, they are Sherry Lynn Roesler and her children, Rachel, She’Lyn and Anthony and his child Kinzie, Doyle Barnard and his wife, Cynthia and their daughter, Amber, Daphne Noble and 2 children, Kimberly and Kristopher, Sondra Ramirez and her 3 children, Cheyenne, Madison, and Tyler, Darrell and his wife, Theresa and their son, Cody, James Helterbrand and his wife, Mandie and their 3 girls, Samantha, Courtnie, and Jocelyn, Dustin Stibbins and fiance Jamie Knight, Dee Mathews and her husband, Randy and their daughter, Kaitlyn, Jennifer, Rodney and Roger Stibbins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie “Buck” Stibbins of 58 years; mother, Laura Buffington Loftice; father, Collin Texas Loftice; and 2 brothers, Rufus Leon (Brownie) Loftice and Charlie Elbert (Choc) Loftice. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Interment will follow at Melissa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
