Eugenia C. Riley, age 92, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 10, 2008, in Allen, Texas. Eugenia was born November 7, 1915, in Freestone County, Texas to Ezra Oliver and Leila Tehuacana (Greene) Cosson. She married Nat Daviss Riley on June 16, 1936, in Marietta, Oklahoma. Eugenia attended Texas Tech University and North Texas State College where she received her teaching certificate. She was an active member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, as well as an early active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Barnett and husband, Charles G. of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Leigh B. Miller and her husband, Rev. Mitchell L. Miller of Fallston, Maryland and Christopher Barnett and wife, Meredith of McKinney, Texas; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Emma Miller and Jackson and Lorelei Barnett; numerous other loving relatives and friends. The family would also like to express their gratitude to Eugenia’s caregiver and friend, Mimi Moss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Leila Cosson and her husband, Nat Riley. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas with Rev. Mitchell L. Miller and Rev. Mally Baum officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 PM, Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 15, 2008 at Driver Cemetery in Teague, Texas.
