Ethel Pauline Andrews, age 90, of Princeton, Texas, passed away October 19, 2011, in McKinney, Texas. Ethel was born March 21, 1921, in Collin County, Texas, to Sherman L. and Ora M. (Dunaway) Thomas. She married Roy A. Andrews in 1939. Ethel retired from HEB Grocery Stores in Kingsville, Texas where she worked in bakery sales. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Farmerville. She is survived by her son, Roy Leon Andrews and wife, Paulette of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Billie McDonald and husband, Jerry of Farmersville, Texas and Barbara Barnett of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Trina Perkins, Dana Watson, Amy Kays, Chad Andrews, Cindi Burns, and Phillip Barnett; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Faye Price of Princeton, Texas, Wilma Price of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jean Hartsell also of Princeton; brothers, Delton Thomas of Princeton, Texas and Willard Thomas of Merit, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy A. Andrews, daughter, Ethel Bolton, brothers, Dub Thomas and Charley Thomas, sisters, Helen Price and Mary Jenice Null. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. David Meeks officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
