Mrs. Estelle D. Bowen, age 76, of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 12, 2004, in McKinney. She was born October 6, 1927, in Houston, Texas, to Obeal Joseph and Alma Louise (Allstott) Dugas. She married David Bowen on December 17, 1954, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Bowen worked for the Texaco Company and the Houston and Austin Branches of Texas Bank for Cooperatives. She was a member of the Rheas Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Gullett and husband, Robert of Arkansas, Nancy Groves and husband, Kevin of Colorado, and Le Ann Mounger and husband, Darrell of McKinney; granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Schultz; grandsons, Todd Kercheval, Grant Gullett, Ryan Gullett, and Darrell Glenn Mounger, II; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Schultz and Shyann Schultz. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 15, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Gary Sherrill and Rev. Jack Gibson officiating. Entombment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
