Mrs. Estefana Jimenez, age 88, of Plano, Texas passed away October 4, 2008, in Plano. She was born November 12, 1920, in Rio Grande City, Texas to Bruno and Dominga (Arce) Lopez. She married Daniel Jimenez in 1954 in Edinburg, Texas. Mrs. Jimenez was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Plano. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Jimenez; sons, Ricardo Jimenez and Reynaldo Jimenez; and daughter, Maria Dalia Pliley and her husband, John all of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel and David Jimenez, Jorge, Reginald and Jennifer Marie Gonzalez, and Michael, Kenneth and Diana Pliley; sister, Anna Maria Arebalo of Edinburg, Texas; great-grandchildren, Aaron Michael Gonzalez, Adrianna Gonzalez Sangalli, Natalie Sangalli, Jorge Gonzalez, Jr., Diana Avery Gonzalez and Diana Grace Gonzalez and Scott Pailie; and many loved nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2008, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church with Father Ciro Jaimes officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
