Mr. Ernest Nelson Henderson Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas and a long time resident of Irving and Nevada, Texas passed away Saturday May 12, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born September 24, 1926 in Noodle, Texas the son of Ernest N. and Jettie Usry Henderson Sr.
He married Mary Margaret Shipp November 18, 1951 in Rockwall, Texas and she preceded him in death May 30, 2011. He was retired from LTV Corp. where he was a machinist and he served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater where he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Mr. Henderson was of Methodist faith and is survived by his daughter Phyllis Stone and husband Dillard of Benbrook, Texas, a grandson; Matthew Stone of Benbrook, Texas and a sister; Juanita Hunn of North Richland Hills, Texas and a number of neices and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother Bobby Henderson.
