Emogene Covington, age 80, of Denison, Texas, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on September 4, 2008 in Denison. She was born December 28, 1927, in McKinney, Texas, the daughter of George and Jessie Lee (Prewitt) McNeil. On September 24, 1945, she married A. C. Covington, Jr., in McKinney. Mrs. Covington was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, A. C.; daughters, Mary Ann Hamilton of Denison, TX and Debbie Covington of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Brian Hamilton and his wife Courtney, Shawn Hamilton and his wife Jessica, Melanie Rhoades, Harry Rundel, and Connie Covington; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sons, Patrick Neil in 1976 and Michael Keith in 2000. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 8, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Mother, we love you little, we love you big, we love you like a little pig.
