Mrs. Emily Jurney Hunt, age 87, of Princeton, Texas passed away September 22, 2006 in Princeton. She now rests eternally with her loving and gracious Savior. She was born January 22, 1919, in Russellville, Arkansas to Lawrence and Mary (Harkey) Jurney. She married Ogden Srygley Hunt in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Hunt was in banking all of her life, retiring in 1984 as Branch Manager of First Federal Savings and Loan in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Gilliam and husband Lynn of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren Geoffrey H. Cox and wife Linda of Austin, Texas, Stephanie Rogers and husband Paul of Princeton, Texas; great-grandchildren Elena Marie Cox, Joseph William Cox, Caleb Hunt Rogers, Abigail Lyn Rogers and Daniel Paris Rogers; nephew James W. Shumate of Charleston, South Carolina ; niece Barbara Hartmann of Anaheim, California; and a host of other familiy and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 7820 Silverado Trail at Alma Rd., McKinney, Texas. Officiating will be Dr. Bryant McGee.
