Emajo “Jodie” Wilson, formerly of Allen, Texas, passed away on April 30, 2013 at the age of 90. She was born on November 24, 1922, in Celina, Texas, to Shain and Elvie (Pinter) Hunn. On August 23, 1945, Jodie married William D. Wilson in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Allen.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas; sons, Terry Wilson and wife Jan of Fort Worth, Texas, David Wilson and wife Rebecca of Flower Mound, Texas; sisters, Gwendolyn De Baboub of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Betty Hathcox of Dallas, Texas, Nancy Wilson of Prosper, Texas, Barbara Turner of California and Carole Hunn Coleman of San Diego, California; brother, J.B. Hunn of Prosper, Texas; grandchildren, Greg Wilson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Darin Wilson of Trophy Club, Texas, Candace Hoback of Flower Mound, Texas and Malinda Wilson of Lewisville, Texas; great-grandchildren, Nathan Wilson ,Reagan Wilson, Camden Hoback and Braden Wilson.

Jodie is preceded in death by her parents, Shain and Elvie Hunn and husband, William D. Wilson.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
