Mrs. Ellen Panos, age 64, of Plano, Texas passed away July 22, 2006, at her home. She was born March 10, 1942, in Yellowjacket, Colorado to Robert and Almetta (Amrine) Elder. On May 25, 1962, she married Pete Panos in Dove Creek, Colorado. Mrs. Panos was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Plano Senior Center and the 42 Club. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Carroll and husband, Philip of Corpus Christi, Texas; son, Christopher Panos of Plano; mother, Almetta Eaton and husband, Jack of Dove Creek, Colorado; brothers, Gene Elder and wife, Jeannie of Garland and Darrell Elder and wife, Monna of Susanville, California; brothers-in-law, George Panos and Nick Panos both of Miami, Florida; and many other relatives and friends. Her husband Pete preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her father, Robert Elder and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home and a reception will follow the services at the Plano Senior Center.
