Ella Lucille “Mema” White, at 99, passed away July 8, 2007 at her McKinney, Texas home. She was born October 7, 1907, in Jewett, Texas, to Joseph H. and Janie E. Pierce-Craddock. Mrs. White was an active and long time member of the Church of God. She was a precious mother and loyal friend. She was dearly loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Janie Casey and her husband Charles of Thompson Station, Tennessee, John Kronquist and his wife Donna of Farmersville, Texas, Reita Partin and her husband Keith of McKinney, Texas, Silas White and his wife Cathy of Richardson, Texas, and Joel White and his wife Jana of Carrollton, Texas; step-children, Tom White and his wife Una, Virginia Robinson, Edith Aston, and Ruth Burrus and her husband Norman; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventeen years, John Potter and husband of thirty years, Rev. Tom M. White; children, John Potter and Dorothy McLaughin; several grandchildren; and eleven siblings. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Charles Prince and Rev. James Short officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation starting 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
