Mrs. Ella Nora (Howard) Browning, age 86 of San Antonio, Texas passed away September 11, 2009 in San Antonio. She was born December 24, 1922 in Bloomdale, Texas to A.G.and Bonnie Lee Howard. On August 4, 1940 she married Williet T. Browning in McKinney, Texas. She held a clerical position in the Electronics Industry at T.I for 26 years. Mrs. Browning was a member of Rhea’s Mill Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and Fidelis Inter Se Club, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, loved bowling and playing cards. She is survived by; sons, Dr. Ron Browning and wife Peggy of Celina, Texas, John M. Browning and wife Jackie of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Barbara Lowry and husband John of San Antonio, Texas, Emma McGill and husband Roy of Celina, Texas; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brothers, Grady Carroll Howard and wife Joan of Aubrey, Texas, George Ward Howard and wife Ruth of Warsaw, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters Geneva Howard and Louise Wheeler. The family will receive friends at a Visitation Monday, September 14, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Rhea’s Mill Baptist in Prosper, Texas with Pastors Ron Hathcoat, John Lowry and Preston Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Old Celina Cemetery.
