Elizabeth Catherine Shelton, age 81, of Leonard, Texas, passed away October 27, 2008, in Bonham, Texas. Elizabeth was born July 15, 1927, in McKinney, Texas, to William Jenning Brian and Clara (Kindall) Spencer. She married Jim Bob Shelton in McKinney, Texas in 1945. Elizabeth was a seamstress. She is survived by her children, Cathy Lee and husband, Ollie of Celina, Texas, Danny Shelton and wife, Linda of Frisco, Texas, Sam Shelton and wife, Martha of Celina, Texas, Clara Billy and husband, Tony of Leonard, Texas, and Terry Shelton, also of Leonard; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Stevens of New Hope, Texas; brothers, Ray Spencer and Sam Sandlin, both of McKinney, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jim Bob Shelton, Jr., granddaughter, Samantha Shelton, brothers, Dub and Frankie Spencer. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday. October 30, 2008, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
