Elizabeth Anne Moseley, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 30, 2011 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on January 30, 1926, in Lewisville, Texas, to Fred and Jewis (Moore) Crawford. She graduated from Lewisville High School at the age of 16, and continued her education at North Texas State University, where she received her teaching degree. After college, Liz pursued her passion to be a teacher. She married her husband W. Perry Moseley, in Lewisville, Texas, on September 13, 1946. They were in the grocery business together, and had two children. Liz was active in the Allen community and also with the First United Methodist Church. She spent her later years teaching in the job corps in McKinney and will be remembered for her kind nature, strong will, and love of conversation. She is survived by her children, Joe Moseley and wife Denise of McKinney, Texas and Eady Myers and husband Scott of Hoover, Alabama; grandchildren, Anya Gaultney and husband Lloyd, Perry Moseley and wife Callie, Will Moseley and wife Megan, Dana Moseley, Jordan Myers, Julie Myers, and Jamie Myers; and three great-grandchildren. Liz was preceded in death by her husband, W. Perry Moseley; parents, Fred and Jewis Crawford; and one brother, Raymond Crawford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Wednesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
