Elizabeth Mooneyham passed away March 18, 2011. She was born March 8, 1927 in Dallas, Texas. Elizabeth was a life long resident of Texas, having lived in Plano after her retirement. Elizabeth was a devoted and loving mother, encouraging and guiding her children. Her working career spanned over 40 years in the business world and she worked in the medical field the last 15 years. She enjoyed swimming, movies and creative endeavors. Elizabeth grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Brackenridge High School. She attended church and was a spiritual person, believing there is life after death in the hereafter. She is survived by her son, Alan Mooneyham and wife, Sherry of Willis, Texas; daughters, Linda Armstrong-Kelly and husband, Ed of Plano, Texas, Debbie Glanville and husband, Gary of Finksburg, Maryland; grandchildren, Jesse Mooneyham, Sarah Mooneyham, Lance Armstrong, Amanda Larkin, Hailey Deklerk and Gabrielle Glanville; great-grandchildren, Luke, Grace, Isabelle, Max, Olivia, Summer and Kendall; brother, Shelby Hodge of Cordova, California; sister, Betty Wilson of Powell, Tennessee and Rosemary Deiss of Beaverton Oregon and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Bert Grey Hodge, Jr., Robert Grey Hodge, James Edwards Hodge, Warren Andrew Hodge and Jerry Hodge; two sisters, Josephine Pruitt and Katherine Hodge. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m., prior to the service on Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
