Elda Fay Cambron Brussow was born December 25, 1929 in Whitewright, Texas to Luther Cleveland Cambron and Lula Hettie Custer Cambron. She married Harold James Brussow on October 8, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. She died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas at the age of 84. She was a resident of Denison, Texas.

She was a member of the Parkside Baptist Church in Denison and was active in the Pacesetters ministry and Faith Sunday School Class. She loved to read and was frequently the personal library for many of her friends. She loved to write poetry. She was greatly loved and will be missed.

She is survived by husband, Harold Brussow of Denison; daughter, Deborah Folio of Wichita Falls; son, Bill Brussow and wife Becky of Howe; son, James Brussow and wife Janet of Frisco; grandchildren, Gina, Jessica, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Cody, Hunter, Jared, and Cierra; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Emma, and Lillie Ann; sister, Gladys Cambron of Denison. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, L.C. Cambron, Jr.; sisters, Hettie Fleming Johnson, Ina Simmons, Elva Medearis, and Lillian Haliburton

Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jerry Coffman. Honorary Pallbearers will be the grandchildren, Gina Daniel, Jessica Roberts, Zachary Brussow, Kaitlyn Brussow, Cody Brussow, Hunter Brussow, Jared Brussow, and Cierra Brussow.

Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Friday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
