Edward Eugene Henkel, III, age 43, of Dallas, Texas passed away September 30, 2012. He was born April 15, 1969 in Bay Shore, New York to Edward Eugene Henkel, Jr. and Donna Marie Senatore. On November 19, 2010 he married Stephanie Delgado in Austin, Texas. Edward grew up in New York, Florida and Texas. He worked in sales much of his life. Edward enjoyed cooking and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church, where he was active in the choir and children’s ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Henkel of Dallas, Texas; father, Edward Henkel, Jr. of Ormond Beach, Florida; mother, Donna Azzara of Huntington Station, New York; grandmother, Mary Senatore of Florida; brothers, Christopher Azzara, Christian Henkel; sister, Maria Minter and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Nancy T. Henkel.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. A private interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
