Edward Crossman

Edward Crossman, age 89, of Allen, Texas, passed away January 12, 2013, in Allen. Mr. Crossman was born October 2, 1923, in Bridgeport, Vermont, to John and Mary Jane (St. John) Crossman. He married Pansy Ada White on October 22, 1945, in Franklin, Vermont and they were married for sixty-three years. Mr. Crossman proudly served in the United States Army and Air Force during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired after twenty-one years of service. Mr. Crossman was a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Allen.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Wallace and husband, Pete of Allen, Texas; son, Harry Crossman of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Cheryl Wallace and Jim Royston of San Antonio, Texas and Shaunda Douglas and husband, Lee of Allen, Texas; great-grandchildren, Madeleine and Nolan Douglas,  and Aidan Royston; sisters-in-law, Donna Domingue and husband, Larry of Sheldon, Vermont and Barbara Lagrow of Franklin, Vermont; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Crossman.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 19, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas with Rev. June Franck officiating. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Mustang Creek Estates in Allen, especially Kim and Jennifer, for their compassionate care of Mr. Crossman.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society, or First United Methodist Church in Allen.
