Edna Henrietta Crow, age 91, of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 22, 2013, in McKinney. Edna was born October 22, 1921, in Roscoe, Texas, to Albert and Anna (Heine) Rannefeld. She married John Ed Crow on May 31, 1942, in Big Spring, Texas. Edna worked for JCPenney for over twenty years. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in McKinney where she was involved in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and taught the preschool children. Edna also loved quilting.
She is survived by her son, Dwain Crow and wife, Judy of Garrison, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kim Crow of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Yant, Jason Crow, Joshua Crow, Joli Crow, and Will Crow; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Haylee, Kaiya, Garrett, Savannah, Lola, Ava, and Ian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Johnny Crow, brothers, George Rannefeld and Roy Rannefeld, and great-granddaughter, Shirley Renee Crow.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon immediately following the graveside service at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2708 W. Virginia Pkwy., McKinney, Texas, 75071.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
