Ed Russell, age 79, of Dallas, Texas passed away March 20, 2011. He was born on March 8, 1932, in McKinney, Texas to Theodore and Hazel (Gidney) Russell. On September 15, 1956, Ed married his wife Almeta Robbins in Garland, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Ed is survived by his wife, Almeta Russell; son, Randy Russell and his wife Deborah; sister, Ruby Williamson; grandsons, Evan Barger, William Russell, and Matthew Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Leonard and John Russell. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas.
