Earnestene Viola Casey Walker

Mrs. Ernestene Viola Casey Walker, 90, of McKinney, died December 13, 2004 at North Central Medical Center in McKinney. She had lived in the McKinney/Princeton area for 37 years and formerly lived in Dallas. There, her husband Woodrow Walker, who preceded her in death in 2003, was Executive Vice-President of Lummus Cotton Gin Company. A member of Farmersville Church of Christ, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and visiting with her many friends and neighbors. She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann walker Peacock, and her husband James Hoke Peacock II of Beaumont; three grandsons, James Hoke Peacock III and his wife, Christina Bryan of Houston, Dr. Lester Walker Peacock of McAllen and Mitchell Hamilton Peacock of Miami, FL; five great-grandchildren, James Hoke (Jake) Peacock IV, Carson Bryan Peacock and Nolan Bryan Peacock of Houston, and Lester Walker Peacock Jr. and Samuel Allen Peacock of McAllen; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Bro. Tom Gaumer officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Hoke Peacock II, James Hoke Peacock III, Dr. Lester Walker Peacock, Mitchell Hamilton Peacock, Casey Adams, Jimmy Lawson, and Paul Willett. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruth Shelton, Martha Love, Sidney Renfro, Larisa Morgan, Geraldine Ramsey, Fran Prichard, Lynn Norad, Dr. Ronald Scott, and Dr. Taysir Jarrah. The family would like to express appreciation to all her neighbors, friends, and associates who spent time visiting her and caring for her during her illnesses. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Farmersville Church of Christ, P. O. Box 71, Farmersville, TX 75442.
