Earline "Dutch" McWhirter

Earline, “Dutch”, McWhirter, age 98, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 11, 2007, at the home of her niece, Pat Bates, in Howe, Texas. She was born August 28, 1908, in Weston, Texas to Leonidas William and Rosa Lee (Helms) McWhirter. Dutch was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Friendship Club at First United Methodist Church and the Quilting Circle at North Baptist Church. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Lois’ Daughters: Billie Wilson of Dallas, Texas, Gwen Patty of Lakewood, Colorado, Tajuana “T” Roberts of Allen, Texas; Gussie’s children: Pat Bates of Howe, Texas, Monty Philips of McKinney, Texas, Stephanie Talbot of Duncanville, Texas; Mamie’s sons: Randal Crosswhite of Abilene, Texas, Eddy Crosswhite of Prosper, Texas, and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Lois Luscombe, Gussie Philips, Mamie Crosswhite and Edna McWhirter, and one niece, Sandra Anderson and two great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, February 13, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Jim Palmer and Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon prior to the service.
