Mr. Earle Adelbert Harris, age 74, of Greenville, Texas passed away October 30, 2004 at his home. He was born October 17, 1930 to Harry Earl and Ida Thelma (Wabel) Harris in Miami, Florida. On February 6, 1953, he married Joan Ball in Richardson, Texas. He served in the U.S. Airforce and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Harris was an employee of John Deere for over 30 years. He was a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville. He is survived by his wife, Joan Harris of Greenville; daughter, Joan Freemen of Wylie, Texas; mother, Ida Harris of Lake Kiowa, Texas; sisters, Mable Samples also of Lake Kiowa, Virginia Solar of Colorado and Patricia Roberts of Greenville; grandsons, Brent Swanzy and wife, Heather and Stephen Swanzy; great-grandchildren, Tristan and Hadden Swanzy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Emmett and Winona Ball and son, Richard Ball of Dallas, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at the Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville with Pastor Larry Jordan officiating.
