Earl Wayne Scott, age 89, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 7, 2009. He was born August 1, 1920 in McKinney, Texas to Rhea Preston and Nola (Howard) Scott. On October 15, 1964 Earl married Alma Wagner in McKinney, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. Earl was a commercial photographer. He owned and operated Scott Studio for twenty-five years. He also worked for the McKinney PD as a dispatcher from 1971 until 1985. Earl volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a member of Central Church of Christ. He is survived by his nieces, Diane R. Bice of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Camille Malone of Rockwall, Texas, Joan Rivers Connally of McKinney, Texas and Ann Judd of La Mesa, California; nephew, John W. Brockman of Plano, Texas and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Wagner Scott on June 24, 2007; parents, Rhea and Nola Scott; five sisters, Helen Scott, Dorothy Reeves, Audrey Rivers, Edith Brockman and Faydelle Shields; brother, Jesse Rhea Scott Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2009 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Frank Morgan, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
