Mr. Earl Thomas Brents, 65 year old Blue Ridge resident, was born August 5, 1948 at Okolona, Mississippi. His parents were Thomas and Maudie Whitehead Brents. He married Donna M. Reaves May 21, 1979 at Crossett, Arkansas. He worked as a superintendent in commercial construction, was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners and he served his country as a member of the Army’s National Guard Reserves. He passed away Monday September 23, 2013.
He is survived by his wife: Donna M. Brents of Blue Ridge, TX; his sons: Jesse Glatt of Sherman, TX and Kenny Glatt and wife Stephanie Glatt of Bells; his brothers and sisters and their mates: Ruby and Bobby Jolly of West Point, MS, Margaret and David Carter of Hendersonville, TN, Alice Jennings of Tupelo, MS, Linda and Jim Foster of Lafayette, TN and Harvey and Tammy Brents of Wagarville, AL; his grandchildren: Brittany Wilson, Taylor Glatt, Chris Glatt, Hunter Glatt, Jessica Glatt, Kaylee Glatt and Leeanna Glatt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
