Mr. E. C. Green, age 83, of Blue Ridge, Texas passed on January 31, 2004 in McKinney, Texas. He was born on September 30, 1920 to Edward C. and Bessie E. (Farley) Green in Morgan, Texas. On August 2, 1943, he married Mary White in Blue Ridge, Texas. He served in the Army Air Corp and was a veteran of WWII. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Ronnie Green and wife, Elizabeth of Blue Ridge, Texas; grandchildren, Tonya Green of Austin, Texas, Darrin & Jeremy Green both of McKinney, Texas; step grandchildren, Greg Douglas of Blue Ridge, Texas and Cherie Sinclair of Houston, Texas; great grandchildren, Shelby, Haley & Hayden Green and Keyra Ogden; step great grandchildren, Kyler Sinclair and Brendan Douglas; sisters, Betty Lou Fisher of Yantis, Texas, Ruth Barnett of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Othel Duncan of Wylie, Texas and Jimmie Lois Price of McKinney, Texas; brother, Billy Jack Green of Blue Ridge, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Chuck Green and sister, Kathrine Hollowell. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 2, 2004 at Verona Baptist Church in Blue Ridge with Rev. Tim Sandy officiating. Interment followed at Blue Ridge Cemetery
