Duane Walter Walerczyk, age 64 of Frisco, Texas passed away on December 17, 2008 in Plano, Texas. He was born on December 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Emily (Hulinek) Walerczyk. Duane married Mary Louise Chamberlain on August 28, 1965 in Houghton, Michigan and together they had three children. He was self-employed in the Restaurant industry and a member of the Roman Catholic Faith. Duane is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Walerczyk of Frisco, Texas; children, Lance Walerczyk and his wife, Kimberly of Frisco, Texas, Christy Burns and her husband, Patrick of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, Lloyd Walerczyk and his wife, Katie of Newaygo, Michigan; grandchildren, Bailey Walerczyk, Katelyn Walerczyk, Zoey Walerczyk; brother, Stanton Walerczyk of Walnut Creek, California and his sister, Ilona Horgen of Comox, British Columbia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 22, at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Joe Lee presiding. Interment will follow at a later date in Hesperia Catholic Cemetery, Michigan.
