Duane Lewis Graham, 78, passed away in Dallas, Texas on October 7, 2012. He was born August 22, 1934 in Springdale, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for five years during the Korean Conflict. After his service in the Navy, Lewis moved to Dallas, Texas where he met and married his soul mate, Pat. He retired from the US Postal Service in 1990, and thoroughly enjoyed his years of retirement. Lewis was an avid golfer and domino player and had a passion for bluegrass music. He was a Christian, having given his life to Jesus Christ at a young age. His life philosophies were “keep it simple” and “play it by ear.”
He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Patsy Stambaugh Graham; son, Bryan Alan Graham and his wife Mindy of Plano, Texas; daughter, Karen Elizabeth Graham Dundon and her husband Scott of Dallas, Texas and granddaughter April Seals of Plano, Texas.
Lewis was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Graham.
A memorial service celebrating Lewis’s life will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Inurnment will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
