Duane “Dewey” Allen Groebner of Plano, Texas passed away September 5, 2015 at the age of 49. He was born November 3, 1965 to Willard Charles Groebner and Janet Lorrayne Hamsmith in Mankato, Minnesota. Dewey married Kimberly Daniel on August 12, 2014 in Plano, Texas. He was a body builder since the age of 14. Dewey was an avid reader and enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Groebner of Plano, Texas; mother, Janet Groebner of Antioch, California; brothers, Jeff Groebner and wife Jennifer of Minnesota and John Groebner and wife Kathy of Antioch, California; and sister, Rhonda Groebner of Inger Grove Heights, Minnesota.
Dewey was preceded in death by his father, Willard Charles Groebner.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening, September 13, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. An interment will be held at Woodland Hills Cemetery in Mankato, Minnesota at a later date.
