Drew Farris, age 26, of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 8, 2008, in McKinney. Drew was born October 4, 1982, in Plano, Texas, to Andrew Wallace and Vicki (Boothe) Farris. He married Rachel Tease on June 10, 2006, in Lucas, Texas. Drew was a man of many occupations. He was also an avid drummer and musician. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Farris of McKinney; son, Avery of McKinney; daughter, Ella, also of McKinney; parents, Wally and Vicki Farris of Princeton, Texas; sister, Whitney Farris and fiancé Martin Barbosa and niece, Sienna Barbosa, all of Plano, Texas; grandmother, Dorothy Farris of Allen, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Terri and George Tease of Allen, Texas; sister-in-law, Leah Tease of Allen, Texas; brothers-in-law, George J. Tease, of Allen, Texas and Jason Beaver of Yelm, Washington; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. The love of Rachel’s life, Drew, her soul mate, was a wonderful husband and father, the best she could ever ask for. Her hope is for their children to also know this throughout their lives, which will certainly happen through his vast loving circle of family and friends. The epitome of cool and wit who always made us laugh, Drew, who never met a stranger, was a best friend to all. He saw only the good in everyone, the helper of the hopeless, the hero of many, our fierce protector, who with unconditional loyalty to all, did his best to keep the peace. Infinite of hope and dreams, Drew never had a bad day or met a challenge too big. We will miss you Drew, until we meet again. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Minister Emery Tease officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
