Plano—Dr. Paul Alan Warren died October 21, 2006 at age 57. Born in Denver, Colorado on February 15, 1949 to Robert and Pauline Warren. A graduate of Baylor University and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Paul moved to Dallas in 1975 to do his internship and residency at Children’s Medical Center where he met his wife Vicky. The couple had been married for 26 years. He is survived by his loving wife Vicky and son Matthew, sister Lois Ward, brothers-in-law Dexter Ward and Greg Gripentrog, sister-in-law Denyse Gripentrog and six nieces and nephews. Dr. Warren had a passion for helping children and families. He helped to establish Twice Blessed, a ministry of Christ Church Plano, and St. Timothy Academy, a private Christian school for children with learning differences. He maintained an active outpatient practice, specializing in behavioral pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and served as an educator and consultant to several schools in the Dallas area.
