Dr. Labib Mishricky Habashy

Dr. Labib Mishricky Habashy, age 82, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2015. He was born on November 12, 1932, in Egypt, to Mishricky and Lydia Gabriel Habashy. On June 28, 1962, Dr. Habashy married Patsy Ruth Garrison in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a Doctor of Obstetrics & Gynecology for many years, only retiring in May 2014. He worked in the medical field for 60 years and delivered more than 10,000 babies.

Labib is remembered with love by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Ruth Habashy, of Frisco, Texas; Daughters, Anne Elizabeth Zielke and husband, Daniel, of Westport, Connecticut; and Catherine Leigh Page of Frisco, Texas; Son, Jonathan Labib Habashy and wife, Kris, of Dallas, Texas; Grandchildren, Wesley Daniel Zielke, Lydia Gabrielle Zielke, Sarah Anne Page, Noah Tom Page, Amish James Page, Olivia Blue Page, Jeb Ethan Habashy, Gareth Owen Habashy and Ruth Adeline Habashy; Brothers, Safwat Habashy and wife, Pearl, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Baha Habashy and wife, Margaret, of Markham, Ontario; Sisters, Wadia Kirolos and husband, Boushra, of Barrie, Ontario; Samia Saif and husband, Albert, of Toronto, Ontario; and Hayat Mishricky of Cairo, Egypt. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mishricky and Lydia Habashy and his older brother Makram Habashy.

A Memorial Service will be held at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75034, on Thursday, April 23rd at 2:00 PM.

Great appreciation is extended to all the friends, neighbors and relatives of the Habashy, Page, and Zielke families for the many cards, calls, flowers, food, visits, kind words and offers of further help.

Labib lived his life to bless others, and he will now be honored and blessed by the outpouring of love to his family. Heaven is rejoicing to receive him and we believe by faith in the Word of God that Labib will one day in God’s future be reunited with his family and loved friends.
