Dorothy Lee Weems, age 85, of Princeton, Texas passed away July 8, 2011. She was born March 18, 1926 in Walters, Oklahoma to Thomas Roberts and Lula Mae (James) Roberts. On March 27, 1944 she married Herman K. Weems in Dallas, Texas. Dorothy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Alexander of Bonham, Texas, Patsy McCallum of Princeton, Texas, Connie Rambin of Keithville, Louisiana, Rhonda Basham of Princeton, Texas, and Linda Hester of Sherman, Texas; sons, Jimmy Weems of Weston, Texas, Michael Weems of Tom Bean, Texas, Tommy Weems of Princeton, Texas and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lula Roberts; husband, Herman K. “Butch” Weems and her two daughters. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2011 at Crossroads Cemetery, Celina, Texas with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Celina, Texas.
