Mrs. Dorothy K. Simpson of Farmersville, Texas passed away December 22, 2011 in McKinney, Texas.
She was born October 2, 1932 in Amherst, Texas the daughter of Erwin L and Hettie L. Brantley Yarborough.
She married Joe Simpson June 2, 1955 in Littlefield, Texas.
She was a retired school teacher and recieved her bachelors degreee from Baylor University and her Masters from N.T.S.U. in Denton. She taught school in Spur ISD, McKinney ISD, Richardson ISD and retired from Farmesrville ISD. Mrs Simpson was a memeber of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas, and is survived by her husband Joe Simpson of Farmersville, children; Rory Simpson and wife Kathy of Morgan Town West, Virginia, Rhonda Benedict of Farmersville, Texas and Randell Simpson and wife Pam of Allen, Texas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
