Mrs. Dorothy M. Cross Hibdon, age 93, of Anna, Texas passed away Friday, March 2, 2007 in Anna, Texas. She was born January 6, 1914, in Denison, Texas to William E. and Betty Jane (Crane) Cross and was a graduate of Denison High School, Class of 1932. On September 14, 1935 Dorothy married Fred H. Hibdon in Sherman, Texas who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Earnest Hibdon and his wife Nora of McKinney, Texas, Ronnie Hibdon of Anna, Texas, Dickie Hibdon of Celina, Texas and, David Hibdon and his wife Peggy of Anna, Texas; daughters, Margaret Lawson and her husband George of McKinney, Texas, Nancy Davis of Celina, Texas and, Sandra Wesdyke and her husband Johnny of Weston, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Fred Hibdon; son, Donald G. Hibdon; daughter, Linda Ruth Morton; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 5, 2007 at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 State Hwy 91, Denison, Texas with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening beginning at 5PM.
