Dorothy Laverne Dunham, age 68 of Frisco, Texas, went to Heaven on April 16, 2009. She was born on June 1, 1940 to Jewel (Rylie) and Pat Malone. On January 28, 1961, she married Ronnie L. Dunham in Lewisville, Texas. Dorothy worked twenty-five years at Frisco ISD as Food Service Director. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Ronnie L. Dunham of Frisco; children, Barry Dunham and his wife, Missy, of Katy, Rhonda Watkins and her husband, Ray, of Corinth, Tim Dunham and his wife, Jennifer, of Frisco; grandchildren, Meg Dunham, Chelsea Watkins, Courtney Watkins, Casey Dunham, Madeline Dunham, Haley Watkins, Georgia Dunham, Jake Dunham, and James Dunham; mother, Jewel Malone of Kemp; sisters, Elsie Marshall of Rockport, Sharon Madden and her husband, Kenneth, of Flower Mound, and Patricia Christopher and her husband, Johnny, of Waxahachie; brothers, Harold Malone and his wife, Nancy, of Kemp; brothers and sister-in-laws, Pat Malone, Jean Malone, Carroll Calhoun, Mona Allen and her husband, Tony, Lynda Watkins and her husband Bill; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Pat Malone; parents-in-law, Morris and Sally Rains; brothers, Darrel Malone and Virgil Malone; sister, Shirley Calhoun; brother-in-laws, Barry Dunham and Joe Marshall. A Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Frisco on Sunday, April 19, 2009, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Aimee Madden officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home in Frisco at their convenience on Saturday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
