Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Corwin, age 91, of McKinney, Texas, passed away April 8, 2006, at her home. She was born February 23, 1915, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Charles F. and Rose Marie (McQueen) Witham. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Carlson and husband, George; stepdaughter, Dorothy Jean Haddrill; grandchildren, Brian Carlson and wife, Julie of Frisco, Texas, Eric Carlson and wife, Janice of Plano, Texas, Karen Huffman and husband, Timothy of Frisco, Texas; stepgranddaughters, Lynn Haddrill Bunting of Maryland and Paula Haddrill Kania of Michigan; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Braden Carlson of Frisco, Texas, Corey and Nicolas Carlson of Plano, and Austin and Ashley Huffman of Frisco, Texas; step-great-grandchildren Dana Haddrill Johnson of Michigan and Bianca and Paula Marzullo of Plano, Texas; stepsister, Gloria; stepbrother, Gerald Bromley and wife, Ila of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Daniel M. Graham and Earl T. Corwin; sister, Evelyn V. Spahir; stepbrother, Todd Bromley; and special friend, Mike Smith. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 12, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurses Association of McKinney.
