Mrs. Doris Jean Trammell, age 82, of Lucas, Texas passed away February 14, 2007, at her home. She was born February 2, 1925, in Altoga, Texas. On August 6, 1961, she married Luther Trammell in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Trammell was an inspector for Luminator transportation and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Luther Ferrell Trammell of Lucas; daughters, Glenda Gayle Schmid and husband, Clarence, and Donna Marie Boyette; grandchildren, Monette Powers and husband, Murphy, Cynthia Sandlin and husband, Billy, Vickie Schmid and Heather Fischer and husband, Scott; great grandchildren, BJ Sandlin, Rebecca Powers, Nathan Powers, and Jordan Fischer. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herschel Leroy Ruyle; mother, Quincy Ray and stepfather, Dewey Ray. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Skip Pilgrim officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m.
