Doris Emogene Hardin, age 86, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on May 8, 2012. She was born February 6, 1926, in Whitesboro, Texas, to Carl and Esther (Wyatt) Titsworth. On June 13, 1948, Doris married Calvin Hardin in Ralls, Texas. She liked to travel, meet new people and enjoyed golf. Doris also enjoyed being active in her church, where she taught Sunday school for over thirty years while living in Phoenix. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Hardin of McKinney; sons, Anthony Wayne Hardin of McKinney, Rodney Dale Hardin of Colorado and Bradley Coleman Hardin also of Colorado; brother, Charles Titsworth of Brownwood, Texas; six grandchildren; and many, many other loving family members and friends.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Esther Titsworth; brother, Wesley Titsworth; and sister, Laura Townsend.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 26th, 2012, at First Baptist Church, McKinney, Texas, with Pastor Kenneth Ussery officiating.
