Donnell Holleman, age 59, of Plano, Texas passed away February 1, 2008 in Plano. He was born December 6, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Johnny and Laura (Woods) Holleman. On December 18, 1968, he married Carolyn Mitchell in San Antonio. Mr. Holleman was the owner of Custom Home Painting and Carpets. He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Carolyn “Tina”; children, Donna C. Elder and her husband Carlton II of Rowlett, Donnell Lamont Holleman of Plano, Carlo Holleman and his wife Tammy of Rosemount, MN, and Lauren Holleman of Plano; grandchildren, Carlton Elder “Trey” III, Nicholas McGinnis, Mitchell Holleman and Tamia Holleman; sisters, Frances Bryant and her husband Brent of San Antonio, Deborah Singleton of San Antonio, Stacy Singleton of San Antonio and Sarah Scurry of Houston; and brothers, Phillip Jefferson and his wife Sonya of Lakewood, CA and Donnie Singleton of San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Jefferson, who also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, February 4, 2008 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Terry Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday morning, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service.
