Don J. Udofia of Plano passed away June 8, 2013 at the age of 60. He was born on May 3, 1953 to James Udofia and Mary Udoh in a town called Ikot Epene in Ikwa Ibom State of Nigeria. Don is the last of three children of his deceased parents, James and Mary Udofia. His career encompassed many different financial institutions, which made him excel throughout his time in the workforce. Don served as an usher at the Catholic Community of Holy Family of Nazareth Parish. Through his church community, he strengthened his relationship with God and other friends and family. He was known for his caring personality, his ability to light up a room with his smile, his professionalism and the love he had for those who knew him.
Don is survived by his lovely wife of twenty-one years, Theresa Udofia and his three sons, Chris Udofia, Don James Udofia, Jr., and Joseph Udofia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1105 W. 15th Street Plano, Texas 75075 with Monsignor Jerome Duesman Celebrant. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
