Mr. Donald Leon Wagstaff, age 81, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 4, 2009, in McKinney. He was born on December 7, 1927, in Durham, North Carolina to Pete and Bertha Mae (Keck) Wagstaff. He was a graduate of Durham High School and attended Sacramento State University now the University of California at Sacremento. Mr. Wagstaff proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On June 21, 1981, he married Suzanne Lineberry in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a mortgage banker for over 45 years in various parts of the country. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Wagstaff is survived by his wife, Suzanne Wagstaff of McKinney, Texas; children, Donald F. Wagstaff and his wife, Berta of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kelly Westphal and her husband, Bill of Allen, Texas and Todd Wagstaff and his wife, Deb of Columbia, South Carolina; and grandchildren, Katelyn Westphal, Megan Westphal, Lauren Wagstaff and Clark Wagstaff. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Norman Wagstaff. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in McKinney with Dr. Jim Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
