Mr. Donald Joe Wade, age 80, of Hillsboro, Texas passed away May 5, 2005, in Hillsboro. He was born on October 1, 1924, in Electra, Texas to Wylie Frank and Grace Vivian (Cosby) Wade. On September 15, 1945 he married Cherrie Ruth Bridges in Sherman, Texas. Mr. Wade was a mechanic for many years. He was a member of the Loveview Baptist Church in Itasca, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Cherrie Wade of Hillsboro; son, Don Wade and wife, Betty of Montgomery, Texas; daughter, Patsy Mahler and husband, Larry of Evergreen, Colorado; 4 grandchildren; brother, Dub Wade of Oklahoma; and sisters, Nan Smith of Garland, Texas and Mary Donaldson of Paris, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John and Tobe Wade. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Bob Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00–5:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
