Mr. Donald Edgar “Donnie” Kinser, age 69, of Copeville, Texas passed away January 20, 2010, at his home. He was born November 4, 1940, to Ernest Edgar and Ilda Lorine (McBrayer) Kinser in McKinney, Texas. He married Shirley Stonequist on May 28, 1983, in Neveda, Texas. Donnie was retired from Rockwell International – Alcatel after twenty-seven years. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kinser; stepson, Leonard A. Davis and his wife, Gloria of Sugar Grove, Illinois; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Glenn Smith of Harrison, Arkansas, Carolyne and Jeff Beatty of Garland, Texas, Beverly and Ken Crocker of Celina, Texas, and Judy and Richard Lovely of White House, Tennessee; brothers and sisters-in-law, David “Rusty” and Trina Kinser of Princeton, Texas, Jerry and Connie Kinser of Belton, Texas and Terry and Martha Kinser of Sachse, Texas; sister-in-law, Judy A. Gilbert of Des Plaines, Illinois and brothers-in-law, John B. Gilbert of Schaumberg Illinois and Frank Gilbert and his wife, Michelle of Prospect Heights, Illinois; and many numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lorine Kinser. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 2:00-5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
