Don Rust, of McKinney, Texas passed away August 28, 2012 at the age of 70. He was born December 26, 1941, to George W. and Huline (Hughes) Rust. On December 23, 1984 Don married Mary Higgins, in Dallas, Texas. He dedicated his life to his wife, children, grandchildren and patients.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rust of McKinney, Texas; children, Stephen Remington of McKinney, Texas, Mikey Remington and wife Amy of Allen, Texas, Meesh Hooten and husband Brian of Dallas, Texas, Raymond Russell Rust and wife Kim of Carrollton, Texas, Donna Rust and fiancé Tom Kinne of Plano, Texas, Robert Rust and wife Phyllis of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; brother, Tommie Rust and wife Debbie of Red Oak, Texas; sister, Jackie Desgrange; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as many dear friends and neighbors.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, George and Huline Rust and son, Jon Rust.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Thursday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
