Don Ray Harlow

Don Ray Harlow passed away on October 18, 2008. He was born on June 19, 1921 to Jess and Clara Harlow. He lived most of his life around Weston and Collin County. Don married Audryus Faye Brown on December 26, 1969. He retired from Texas Instruments in 1985. Don was a kind and generous man. He will be truly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Audryus Faye Harlow of thirty-nine years; brothers, Dudley Harlow and wife, Dorothy of Garland, Ob Harlow and his wife, Edith of Kansas City, Leonard Harlow and his wife, Judy of Anna, Haley Harlow of Melissa, and Bill Harlow of McKinney; sisters, Jackie Burch of Bonham and Frances Harlow of Dallas; eighteen nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Arlis Harlow and L. B. Harlow, sisters-in-law, Geraldine Harlow, Louise Harlow, Faye Harlow, and Ruth Harlow, brother-in-law, Garth Burch. He was also very special to step-children George Brown and wife, Janet, Tommy Brown and wife, Linda, and David and Linda Chapman. He was “papa” to eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Don will be remembered as a loving and gentle man. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday,October 20, 2008, at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
