Dimple Mounger, age 88, of Celina, Texas, passed away June 23, 2011, in Gunter, Texas. Dimple was born October 26, 1922, in Celina, Texas, to Robert Lee and Mary Stella (Gulick) Hays. She graduated from Celina High School in 1940. Dimple was employed with McLendon Corporation for many years. She also worked for Leon Ussery and Felix Smith, Public Accountants in McKinney, Texas. Dimple owned, operated, and directed the Duplicate Bridge Club (ACBL) in Plano, Texas in the 1980’s and was a LifeMaster in Duplicate Bridge. She sponsored Duplicate Bridge Games on Monday nights at McKinney Country Club. Dimple was a member of First Methodist Church in Celina. She is survived by her son, Joe Mounger of Richardson, Texas; sister, Mary Leta Phipps of Granbury, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2011, at Restland Memorial Park in Richardson, Texas followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Richardson, Texas, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX, 75080. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
