Mrs. Diane Marie Reeves, age 61, of Denton, Texas passed away September 24, 2008, at her home. She was born on July 23, 1947, in Sumter, South Carolina to Allen G. and Marie (Witzel) Miller. On October 14, 2000, she married Ben Reeves in Austin, Texas. Mrs. Reeves retired in September 2000 from being an executive assistant to a state representative in Austin, Texas. She also taught in public and Lutheran schools. Additionally, she was a homemaker who was very dedicated to her family and was also known for keeping in very good touch with her friends. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denton, where she volunteered for the Care Committee. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband, Ben Reeves; daughter, Michelle Henderson of Addison, Texas; brothers, Chuck Hudak of Parker, Colorado and Chip Miller of The Woodlands, Texas; sister, Pam Hansen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and a host of other family and many friends. Her parents Allen and Marie Miller preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 703 N. Elm Street in Denton with Pastor Russell Tieken officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
