Mr. Derrick Glen Tarrant of Farmersville, Texas passed away April 6, 2015 in McKinney, Texas. He was born February 28, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to his parents Gary and Donna Watkins Tarrant. He married Cynthia Ann Daniel March 29, 1980 in the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas. Derrick owned and operated his own trucking and excavation business. He was a graduate of Farmersville High School and a life long resident of Farmersville.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann Tarrant of Farmersville, Texas and his son, Dustin Tarrant also of Farmersville, parents, Gary and Donna Tarrant; sister, Rhonda Weston and husband Bart of Farmersville, Texas; brother, Berry Tarrant and wife Dawn of The Colony, Texas; in-laws; Bill and Glenda Daniel of Farmersville, Texas; brother-in-law, Eddie Daniel and wife Helen; sister-in-law, Janet Lynn all of Farmersville, Texas; 3 neices Harley Lynn of Farmersville and Audri Tarrant of The Colony, Texas and Courtney Aston of Wichita Kansas, 2 nephews; Baylee Weston of Farmersville, Texas and Chase Daniel of Austin, Texas.
A Funeral service will be held at Friday, April 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas with Randy Bird and Larry Eastman officiating. interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, Texas.
