Mr. Denis Len Schnell a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather of Fairview, Texas passed away at the age of 67, on June 17, 2009, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on January 3, 1942, in Chicago to Erwin Martin and Margaret Lee (Moon) Schnell. On May 11, 1963, he married Carol Helfers in Addison, Illinois. Denis had a 38 year career as a sales representative for INCO Alloys International. Presently he was a residential broker for Coldwell Banker. He was a very active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Carol Schnell; children, Ann Beck and husband, Perry of Allen, Texas, Jessica Schnell of Pensacola, Florida, Joshua Schnell and wife, Marija of Rockville, Maryland; grandchildren, Jordan Lee Crittenden, Kyle Glenn Crittenden, James Denis Beck, Vassily Martin Schnell, and Hunter, Cameron, Alexandra and Preston Beck; sisters, Tracy O’Connor and husband, Fred also of Pensacola and Diane Rambeau of Estes Park, Colorado; brother-in-law, David Helfers and wife, Sandra of Wautoma, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano with Rev. Victor J. Kollmann officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Forest Grove Community, Texas.
